The default-first status home and operator console. Organizes project state and evidence. It is a System component, not a public protocol service.
Understand Surface →Skills, plugins and applications can make a System more capable. They should also make the inputs, permissions, provenance and results of their work easier to understand.

Understand Surface →The companion skill-system direction for domain knowledge and workflows. A skill describes how to approach work; an execution backend supplies actual tools.
The companion integration family. Each plugin needs its own supported host, real access scope and operational contract. Finding a plugin is not installing or authorizing it.
The distribution direction for inspectable parts. Package review, license review and permission to run remain separate from discovery.
The public Dotsys repository includes an optional Paste Inbox skill and local helper. It saves text you explicitly submit through chat into a private folder on your Dot’s cloud computer.
Its installation depends on the host. A quick panel and hotkey are planned; background clipboard watching and a Dropbox account are not part of the supplied skill.
Zeke 3D is one example of the wider skill direction: domain intelligence above DCC-specific adapters. A modeling plan, an installed Maya or Blender adapter, and a verified geometry result are different parts of the job.
That distinction generalizes to every extension. Describe what it knows, what it can actually do, the environment it needs, and how a result is checked. Companion skills and adapters are not shipped by Dotsys Protocol 0.1.0.
A public Dotsys card contains discussion topics, not executable endpoints, prompts or grants. Operational use of Dotsys materials remains subject to its current ChatGPT Dots/Codex license. Companion products and third-party components retain their own terms.
